Lifestyles In This Day

  Nowadays we live in a world where the young population is very sedentary and have a lot of vices. The mayority of peopledo not take care about their health. So, for that reasons I believe that modern lifestyles can seriously endanger our health.

  First of all,  is difficult to have a healthy lifestyle, because our life run according our timetable. We spend more time in the job or in the collage, so we finish the day tired and our mind is in the work that we have to do.

   However, we should take care or try to carry a healther lifestyle. We must reduce the consume  of fast food, less time in front of computer and stop smoking and drinking alcohol.

   To sum up, we can have a healthy lifestyle whether we organize our timetable and take it seriously. If we do that, we will be able to carry a long and healthy life.

HOMEWORK 13

OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

INTRODUCTION

  The purpose of this report is to discuss whether the money which has recived of the govermment for our neighbourhood should be spending on improving the streets or to put warning signals in the corners of each streets.

THE STREETS

  The neighbourhood have in each three streets a hillock which are very safeful. However, our streets need to be repaired, because there are a lot of holes on it and because of this wheels of cars are pricked when drivers pass over it. Furthermore, this improving would help to our neighbourhood to prevent accidents.

WARNINGS SIGNALS

  The neighbourhood already has some traffic lights. If we use the money in more traffic lights or in some warnings signs. It would make to our  neighbourhood safer and a better place for our children, who spend their free time playing in the streets.

RECOMMENDATION

  I recommend to spend the money in improving the streets, cover the bumps and put traffic signs. It would be a benefical idea for us and the neighbourhood.

HOMEWORK 12

A MEMORABLE MEETING

   I still remember that wonderful day as if it would have happened yesterday, that was a meeting which changed my life. And now sometimes I tell my friends about that, they are tired to hear that story, however, it was the summer holidays and I went to visit my family.

   I had arrived my uncle's house, left my things there and decided to go to the center. I did not know very well the streets, so occasionally I asked someone about it. I was walking with my cell phone in my hand, when suddenly I crashed with him, I could not believe it! It was Pierre Bouvier!.

   I appologized with him and told him that I was looking for the ice-scream stall and I did not the streets, and he offered me his help. He tourned out to be very friendly, in the way to the ice-scream stall I asked him how he felt to be a rock star. He was very kind to answer me and also he gave me some advices, when we arrived he said goodbye. I was so happy to have been able to know one of my idols. For that reason that meeting made it a day I will never forget.

HOMEWORK 11

DREAMS OF FAME?

  Why people dream of being famous? Maybe for the money, the recognition of thousands of people, to travel around the world or perhaps to be the role model for the youth. These are some of the main reasons why people dream of being famous.

  However, there are several disadvantages too. Such as lack of privacy, the constant harassment of paparazzi, there will be people who do not like what you do, the stress that this might cause you and sometimes a life of addiction, such as drugs, alcohol, etc..
  From my point of view if I had to choose, I would choose a successful life but not so well known. So I would be able to do what I like and also have a quiet life, without pressure from fans and paparazzi harassment.

  

HOMEWORK 10

INTRODUCTION

  This report have the propose of promoting the sports activities, that ones are not very commom in this town specially in the young people,so we want to take advantage of their holidays to introduce them in some sports.

WHICH SPORTS?

  Well this town is situated between mountains and there are some green spaces, so young people would enjoy sports which take place in these areas. Activities in the open air could include football and others team games like relay races.
  Similary we could ask for the sports complex for doing others sports activities as voleyball,basketball and baseball, using their fields.

BENEFITS TO YOUNGSTERS

  Doing these activities would benefit young people by taking them out the sedentary, encouraging team spirit and giving them the opportunity to know new people and make new friends. At the same time they would become fitter.

CONCLUSION

  I recommend organising these activities would have to do as a summer camp, with breakfast at noon or something to share between them. Young people would find that the sports are an interesting,enjoyable and healthy way to spend the holidays. The activities would also help them to develop physically and mentally.

Dear Mr Alan Reid

   I have seen your advertisement on the internet and I am writing to apply for a summer job as sports supervisor in your Children's Summer Camp.
   I am an 20-year-old student from Salta. I have already finished high-school and now i am in the second year of English trainer, I have an advanced level in English. Between July to August, I will be on winter's holidays, and i won't have any problem with the time. Also I practise some sports so I think that I will be able to supervise the sport's activities.
   I am interested in doing this job because it is a great opportunity to work with children and gain some experience to the future. This will give me the chance to improve and practise my English while also earning some money.
   Could you please let me know what salary you are offering for this job?

HOMEWORK 7

   Of course! What dates do you recommend me to go? I love winter but i don't know, i heard that winter there is not a good station in australia, because of the weather is too cold and there is not enough activities to do in that station.
   That's great! I would want to do some subjects as natural sciences and history, because i would like to know about nature in australia, you know about animals, plants, etc. With respect to sports, i would like to practice any water sport and rugby. I have heard that are very popular.
   I prefer to go to the great barrier reef because I saw many pictures of this place. It is very beautiful, it would be amazing to visit it. But how much would it cost us? If you can find out the price and let me know. So i will start to save some money.

HOMEWORK 6

HARD ROCK CAFE

   I visited Hard Rock Cafe for first time the last week, and it was one of the best restaurant that i have been before.

   The surroundings were modern comfortable, an excellent decoration,very good music and with a rock and roll style that traps the attention of any. The waiters were very friendly and attentive,the service was quickly,not as other restaurants in the city.

   That restaurant specializes in traditional foods like Ribs, fries, beans and cabbage salad, burgers, nachos and other delicious dishes. All the ingredients were clearly fresh and very well cooked. The prices were rasonable $20 pesos for each burgers over the drink.

   I would like to recomend you that restaurant as it is located near of the center, i will no doubt be back for many more lunches!

   

HOMEWORK 5

It was a trip I’ll never forget. I was just a little child when I went to fish with my cousin and my uncle. I was older than my cousin, he was very noisy and my uncle was always talking me about the funny that is to fish.
In the trip we saw a lot of big trees, and horses that were running very fast. When we arrived to the place, my cousin and I run quickly to the lake that was so beautiful, it was like a big mirror.
But when we were to start to fish, my uncle saw that there weren’t bait, he had forgotten it. So we were sad, couldn’t fish without bait. Nobody knew what do! All of a sudden my uncle remembered that he had a knife, so we started to make a deep big hole in the earth and found a lot of large worms. I was very happy! We could start to fish, when the afternoon ended we had fished much small large fishes. It was a funny trip.

HOMEWORK 4

VIDEOGAMES: A WORLD OF ADVENTURES

   I first got interested in the videogames when i was 6. I was with my cousin in my house, he invited me to go to a place where there were videogames' machines. When we arrived i was excited because i had been in a place like that, big machines with different games and graphics all shining and making noise. He gave me a coin and taught me the basics of the games.
   I really liked it and as soon i learned to play alone, i started to save money in those days was 10 cents each game, first i came twice a week after the days passed and i started to go daily. Every day i learnt a new movement or trick.
   Years passed and i was leaving the big machines and started to play in small consoles from "tetris, family, sega until the playstation". Now i do not play as much as before but on the weekends my friends and I met us to play and spend time having fun together.
   I'd recommend it as a hobby because is an activity when you can use your imagination, plan strategize and spend hours of fun.

Hi Anne,

Thanks for your email,. I'm very happy to know that you are coming to Salta. Sincerely, I prefer the winter because in the afternoons there is a very nice weather for a walk in the center and at night go to dinner or see a movie.

If you want to meet young people, you should go to clubs or events. Why don't you come with me? I could introduce some friends! I'm sure that you will fall them very well. You also could do some courses, many young people in salta do courses of different activities.

In the winter the weather is very nice in the afternoons and very cold at night. You should bring a lot of warm clothes, hats, scarves and gloves.

Thanks also for your invitation to join the group. I'd like to do it and spend time with you. If you want i could show you some of the most interesting places in Salta. Let me know when you're coming!

Sea Turtles

 This animal live in all oceans of warm and tropical water,they also choose currents of hot or cold water, depending on the temperature at which they want to be. During the breeding season is very commonly seen on beaches and sandy shores in large groups that are burying their eggs.
 The turtles of feresh water are carnivorous and the the sea turtles are omnivorous. It eats coral,aquatic vetation,algae and the most carnivorous eat small invertebrates,octopus or jellyfish. They constantly travel to breed in winter and to feed in summer.
   The sea turtles are endangered because of excessive hunting and trapping for their meet,skin,eggs and shell. In India the people eat turtles' eggs, in South America extracted turtles' oil for lamps and other sides the people make shells into musical instruments.
   Now the turtles are preserved in national parks and protected reserves.There are also organizations that teach about the protection of these animals.

AVRIL LAVIGNE

    Avril Lavigne is a amazing pop singer who made four records, such as "Let Go", "Under My Skin", "The Best Damn Thing" and "Goodbye Lullaby".

    She is medium high and slim. Avril has got a long blonde hair,white skin,two beautiful blue eyes and a tender smile.

    Avril Lavigne is a independet and rebel person. She does what she wants when and how wants. But she´s a very understandable sweet and sincere person too, maybe she´s sometimes very straight.

    In her free time, she enjoys writing songs, playing the guitar, doing skateboarding and changing her appearance (specially change her hair´s colour).

   Avril Lavigne is a awesome singer with a wonderful voice. I´m sure to listen a lot more of her in the future!
